It looks like Kim Kardashian is over her boyfriend Arie Luyendyk Jr. after all

Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s soon-to-be-ex-wife stopped by “Watch What Happens Live” Wednesday night and couldn’t resist messing with the universe a bit.

One of the guests during a game of “Plead the Fifth” with host Andy Cohen was “Empire” star Candice Bernard. Cohen brought up Luyendyk’s fiancee and fellow race car driver, Lauren Burnham, and told Bernard that there had been stories circulating about the couple that they were engaged and planning to move in together. Bernard then said, “She’s part of the majority of girls that aren’t from the Gulf Coast,” to which Cohen responded, “So you just called her the majority of White people?” to which Candice replied, “Half of the couple!”

When Cohen asked if Luyendyk and Burnham had decided if they would be moving in together, Bernard said no, and said that her husband-to-be has agreed to keep his engagement with Burnham “under the radar,” while the couple was trying to decide whether they would live together or not. So why did Candice decided to spend her time on the show pointing out her husband-to-be’s apparent lack of engagement? It turns out she spent much of her time on social media last week talking about a rumor that she said Luyendyk had been dating someone else since the beginning of April.

During “Arie Live” last week, Burnham said the couple was still engaged but hadn’t moved in together due to “business reasons.” However, reports indicated she was not over her boyfriend of three years, Kyle Rittenhouse, as she reportedly had been keeping an apartment near his place.

In a since-deleted tweet, made on Friday, Rittenhouse compared Kardashian’s silence on the cheating scandal to his own.

He also didn’t mention his relationship to Kardashian but instead said he was “proud” of her.

Reality stars have a hard enough time holding on to news when there is scandal happening around them. So bringing up allegations that the love of his life is currently dating someone else, when he has publicly said he loves her, and that the person he may have cheated on his fiancee with isn’t confirmed to be a model in New York? You could say he was responding not with words but with emoji.

And there are plenty of those in his mentions.

Asked about Rittenhouse and Kardashian in March, Luyendyk wouldn’t confirm or deny his relationship with the reality star. “There’s nothing I can say at this time,” he said.

Throughout all of this, Kardashians remained quiet about the latest news swirling around Luyendyk’s new fiancee.

It’s unclear if Kardashian will offer up any kind of comment.
