The newly hired red carpet editor at the Oscars has been working overtime.

Don Lemon, Tracee Ellis Ross and Tracee Ellis Ross have been taking selfies and fans photos throughout the Academy Awards ceremony this week.

But don’t expect to see them there for the Academy Awards red carpet on Sunday.

In 2020, the red carpet is being revamped in a bid to boost ticket sales.

Here are the top five best looks from the 51st AMAs in Los Angeles.

1. Tracee Ellis Ross in a custom $15,100 Prada gown

Celebrity red carpet fixture Tracee Ellis Ross stunned in a custom Prada gown. Fans loved her look, and took to social media to praise the dress and the actor.

2. Tiffany Haddish in a get-up from J.Mendel

Tiffany Haddish looked fresh on the red carpet with her jazzy figure-hugging Emilio Pucci gown. Her words got lots of response, especially after she accidentally called Howard Stern a male. “I love him. He saved my life at Radio City Music Hall.”

3. Tracee Ellis Ross in Elie Saab

Celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe said the 2019 AMAs was Tracee Ellis Ross’ “best ever”, calling her Elie Saab gown the “finer, more beautiful” look she had ever seen her work.

4. Demi Lovato in Brandon Maxwell

Demi Lovato looked sexy in a thigh-grazing gown with an exposed inner thigh. The singer’s stylist Mimi Cuttrell said that Demi’s look was simple but “effortless”, highlighting the singer’s body and her vibrant red hair.

5. Madonna and the king of her worlds, David Bowie

Madonna had the fans talking after appearing on the red carpet in a tiny bodysuit that revealed her underwear. But she wasn’t alone. David Bowie showed up dressed as an astronaut to support his friend who is battling cancer. Madonna looked like she was ready to celebrate after receiving a lifetime achievement award at the 2019 AMAs.
